Our new website and brand refresh is here!
We are so thrilled with the response to our brand refresh and new website – thank you!
We have received the nicest messages and feedback on both – from the visually pleasing ‘snappy colours’ and ‘gorgeous colour scheme’, to the site layout and function – ‘so easy to navigate’ and ‘brilliant, clearly laid out marketing packages’ – we are delighted!
Time for a new look
Marketing Vision Consultancy has flourished and evolved significantly since being founded in 2011. Over the years we have worked closely with a fantastic range of small businesses and start-ups, helping them to grow.
And that is where we wanted the focus of our brand refresh to be – on growing small businesses. It’s succinct, unambiguous and what we’re all about.
We also wanted to develop a fresh new look that would appeal to and engage with our largely female client-base. Our brief was for something unique, contemporary and bold, that celebrated individual small businesses….and that was most definitely not pink or purple!
Behind-the-scenes of the brand refresh
We chose to work with the incredibly talented illustrator Chloe Robertson – founder of Chloe’s Office and Design By Smith – on the brand refresh and couldn’t be happier with the results. From the very start of the project, Chloe was an absolute pleasure to work with and her creative ability and attention to detail, second to none.
We asked Chloe to share some insights into how the branding concept was developed:
Initially I worked with Paula on the idea. It was essential that I had clarity on who/what Marketing Vision was and what Paula wanted people to think and feel when they looked at her brand. Tapping into what’s unique and connecting with her audience.
Paula’s ability for helping small businesses grow and thrive felt like the core message. These businesses come in all colours, shapes and are at different stages of growth.
After sharing a few concepts through an ideas board – this route was the one to take. Trees felt like the obvious choice – but to represent them uniquely. Initially taking inspiration from a trip to Itchenor near Chichester, and then working the ideas up with pen and ink – and loud music!
Next, I scanned them individually, added colour and made pattern repeats on my trusted MacBook pro. When the elements were complete we then worked together on the Marketing Vision printed literature and website.
A strong, cohesive brand that achieves results – but recognises the uniqueness and creativity of the individual. It was a joy working on Paula’s brand.
Website & stationery
Our new branding has been integrated into the new website (site build by the amazing Ice Vision Creative) and stationery to create a consistent brand image. Later this week we will be launching a competition on Instagram to mark the launch so stay tuned!
